59-65 Update! And Movie Marathon!

Hey bloggers! So err, I'm sorry this post was delayed, I was planning on having it up on Sunday but you know, I just have so many friends and an extremely busy social life, just kidding, that was sarcasm kids. Actually, blame cable television because only one day a week do they decide to actually play movies worth watching. So yeah, the reason I didn't post or comment was because I was watching TV all day. But hey, I wasn't feeling well (I'm playing the pity card, yes). I got three hours of sleep that night, I woke up at 7:30 in the morning (ON A SUNDAY!!) and I watched Evan Almighty, National Treasure 2, the beginning of the Cat in the Hat, Juno, Hairspray, and the Shining...I know, brilliant line-up. I don't think I've ever watched that much TV at one time in my whole life?! But like I said, I wasn't feeling right.

Saturday night I did go to see Inception. I just have to say it's one of the best movies I've seen in a while. It's like, AMAZING, and if you like having your mind bended into pretzels, then go see it now. I won't discuss it because it's one of those movies that gets ruined by reading plot summaries and the like (and plus I'm too lazy, and I have no clue where to begin).

And apparently either someone has broken into my house to steal my Ben and Jerry's icecream, or either my dad or I sleep-eats...Because two pints were half eaten and everyone in my family swears they didn't touch them...*Twilight Zone Music*

Oh and further life updates, I got Counting Crows Concert tickets!!!! YES!! I LOVE THEM! :D I'M SO FREAKING EXCITED!! <3

Silver and Gold.  It was the night before my High School senior portrait and I was trying to test out which makeup to use. I ended up going with the golden get-up since it looked better with my eyes.

I painted my nails with the blue polish that I won in the giveaway! And the background is just a tote bag of mine. I liked this picture because of its natural lighting. I didn't even have to edit this one too much.

Before I forget, Like Totally Awesome is having this Tetris challenge on YouTube. Being a past tetris champion, I entered of course! I haven't played in a year, so I'm a little rusty. My real high score is at least a full 10k better than that, but I couldn't use my old high score for the contest.

YouTube Blabs and [49-58] Update!

Hmm, I guess I should update this?

Just kidding about the nonchalantness. I've been wanting to update for a while but I've just been a busy busy bee! Nevertheless, I do have a slew of photos and some random Sarah babble that I've been lacking on.

Last night I was on YouTube, and...
1. I watched some really awesome videos on a channel called ImprovEverywhere.  They get a group of people together and do funny improv in different parts of NYC.  In one of the videos I watched, they did a re-enactment of a Star Wars scene on a Subway car, and in another video they got a big group of people to do a freeze in a Home Depot. My favorite one was the video in which they performed a musical number about lunch spontaneously in Trump Towers!
2. Tonight I tuned into Ryan Higa's live Ustream broadcast with Kevin Wu (Kevjumba). Unfortunately they were experiencing some "technical difficulties" and the Ustream video froze in the middle. After that a large percent of people left the Ustream, but those who stayed (including me) got to chat with the one and only, Wesley Chan (who was modding Ryan's Ustream)! In case you don't know who that is, he's one of the three men of the Wong Fu Productions trio. So that was pretty cool! The last time, I chatted with Ryan Higa, but that was in early May.

3. Have you guys heard of the whole Kerligirl13/JessiSlaughter/You Dun Goofed "internet phenomena"? If not then the gist is: 11 year old "scene queen" posts video bragging about her perfection whilst swearing like a sailor, trolls write hate comments and she is made fun of on Tumblr, and then she posts two videos entitled "Muh Emotional Breakdown because of your guy's shit" where she's crying to the camera and her dad yells incoherent threats in the background ("The "Cyber Police" have "backtraced" your "e-mails"" and "if you touch my daughter, consequences will never be the same!") I feel really bad for the girl for getting so infamous over a YouTube video, and I think that no one deserves that. It just made me think about how careful we should be when posting stuff on the internet. People were able to find out her phone number, make prank calls, and order pizzas and hookers to her house. I think it's worth mentioning that her original video made me cringe. It was really really bad. I blame the parents for giving their 11 year old daughter free internet access and a webcam. If you're curious here is the video, but er, parental guidance suggested. She has a serious potty mouth problem.

So, anyways, enough useless Sarah babble. Time for Project 365 update!

Day 57 was a lot of fun! It looked to be a lazy Sunday, and all I had planned was picture editing and baking a CHERRY pie. Anyways, around 3:00 I hear a knock at my door. I open it up, and my best friends decided to come over! I hadn't seen them in a really long time since I've been so busy with work. So we had fun, hung out, and took the really awesome Day 57 picture!

Yay! I've survived another week! Phew! And I'll be blog-walking Tuesday.

I also got to watch the Little Mermaid up at camp since it was raining. It's one of my favorite Disney movies of all times. What's yours?

Day [39-48] 365 Update!

I've been a...very...bad....blogger! *cries*
I know I haven't been on and returning comments this week. It's really hard to find a chunk of free time with my new summer schedule. I wake up at 6:30 AM, I don't get home until 5:30 most days, and by the time I eat dinner, take a shower, and get everything ready for work the next day, it's like 9:30 and I completely pass out. I've also been trying to read more, and internet (is that a verb?) less. I'm currently working on Pride and Prejudice, and then I have "On the Road" in my lineup. I also have to read A Prayer for Owen Meany for school (ridiculous.) which I'm dreading. Now of course, I could complain all day....but....
