And cross my heart, and hope to die...
Last night was Prom. I didn't go, but I did sleep over at my friends house for an "after party." So therefore I've decided:
Playing Apples to Apples on a Trampoline at 9:50 AM > PROM .
Anyways, I'm just frustrated that even though I just finished two AP tests and SATs my teachers decided to high five me with 7 projects, no exaggeration, so I'm feeling overwhelmed and sort of pissed off. I just feel loooooopy. Anyways, since I'm feeling like crap, I wanted to shift gears and do a post on music!
This is an introductory post, just to show some of my tastes at the moment:
TOP 10 SONGS SARAH WANTS YOU TO LISTEN TO RIGHT NOW BECAUSE SHE CAN'T GET THEM OUT OF HER HEAD:
1. Into the Airwaves- Jack's Mannequin
I don't know why, but I can't get enough of this song. It reminds of time just melting away, and traveling back to a time and place that you're happy C:
2. Even if it Kills Me- Motion City Soundtrack
Starts off slow, with a melancholy undertone, but I love the message of it. Perseverance ftw
3. On Letting Go- Circa Survive
I love Circa Survive's sound, because it's so unique. This song stands out in my mind. It talks about just wanting to belong, and then....letting go.
4. The War- Angels and Airwaves
I love AvA as well. They have sort of a techno-y rock sound. I kept singing this song while I was studying for AP...."Why won't you tell me, that it's almost over..."
5. Always Running Out of Time-Motion City Soundtrack
Love MCS. This song is on the "Almost Alice" CD, which is music by a lot of different bands inspired by the movie. I like this song because it's very slow and it's almost like a mantra to me, because I'm Always Running Out of Time
6. Crooked Teeth--Death Cab for Cutie
I love DCC a lot, and this song is almost always stuck in my head. I love the tempo because a lot of DCC songs are slow and airy, but this one's a nice change. I also love the chorus.
7. A Whisper & A Clamour--Anberlin
I had my Anberlin playlist on for an hour last night. This song is very powerful. I guess it's because they're a "Christian Rock" band. I love them, even though I'm Jewish xD
8. United States of Eurasia--Muse
I love how this song starts out almost classically and in the middle gets extremely powerful. I love the "Egyptianish" underpinnings.
9. Audience of One--Rise Against
This song pretty much sums up life. My life. Maybe we've outgrown all the things that we once loved.
10. Call That a Comeback--You Me at Six
If you haven't listened to this band yet, do it....NAO!!!!
Okay, so I also found a new K Drama the other day called "Coffee Prince" on Hulu. I've only watched one episode so far, but I love it....more than Boys Over Flowers. I even bookmarked it haha. If you're interested in watching, here's the link:

Time to do a "fun" APUSH project....and Chem Project
-Sonny

ReplyDeleteYou little hardworker you :) I love your bloglayout. It seems even brighter and happier. Colours!
ReplyDeleteHead your chin up! I'm halfway through college and a few years ago, I was still taking 4 AP tests a year (and my college didn't even take AP credit ... pfft stupid) and thinking I was about to collapse any second. And it DOES feel awful! But you know what? A few more weeks and you're done, it'll be summer, and you'll feel much better.
Music always helps. Seems like you've already got everything figured out pretty well :)
