Counting Crows Update (Pic Heavy, but when aren't my posts...)

I...I don't even know where to start. I really need to get back into the swing of things, but this week has been crazy! So over the weekend, my sister and her husband stayed over, I went to a racetrack and won 11 bucks, I went to a COUNTING CROWS CONCERT which was amazing!! I had a staff meeting, and today I had to chaperone my campers all day at an amusement park, which was unbelievably stressful. So I've been very busy, and tired! Even though it's summer, I'm still very stressed out. I need to start studying for my SAT again, read a 600 page novel (I finished Pride and Prejudice though, finally), learn how to drive, and write college essays....AHH! I'm also behind on picture editing. That's why I wanted to do a concert/babble post, and a photo update later in the week (when I'm not about to drop dead from exhaustion).

Let me start off by saying that I'm a huge Counting Crows fan. I can sing along to pretty much any of their songs, and I have all of them on my iPod. I think Adam Duritz has the most beautiful voice on the planet. And I think I'm in love with Adam Duritz. Last year, they didn't perform near my town, so my dad (who's completely awesome!!) made a 6 hour round trip in one day, so I could catch their performance. Luckily, this year the show was somewhat nearer.

All three above pictures are of the band 'Augustana' that performed with the Crows. They don't sound that awesome live, but their recorded music is a lot better. Also, the bass player is slightly very attractive (the long haired one).

So anyways, we went after work to the music center.  We had really awesome seats, but since the concert didn't sell out, a man who worked there gave us tickets to seats even closer! (Right now I feel like a little kid writing in a journal, about each detail of my day, sorry!) The music wasn't the best quality because it was so humid outside, so that kind of sucked.

Hey Adam, what's up?
Adam Duritz is amazing
I love this man!!
This rapper known as 'Notar' also performed at the show. I'm not into rap so it wasn't really my scene, although one song was rather good.

Regardless, I had a ton of fun at the concert. If you ever have a chance to see them perform, take it! They're all awesome performers, and very very talented.

I took all of these pictures with my Canon point and shoot, so they're not the most amazing quality, but I was happy that some of the pictures actually came out.

So that was just a quick update! I will be blog walking/comment replying and photo editing tomorrow, I promise!!!!! I probably won't post those until Monday since I'm going out of town during the weekend. <3
