The other day I was blog walking and I came across a post from Jasmine @ Pardon My Ffrench where she posted pictures of rainbow cupcakes that she made. They looked so tasty and gorgeous that I was immediately inspired, so I grabbed sibling and we baked a batch.
It was fairly simple. Make a bowl of cake batter, then separate it into as many bowls as colors that you want. Then use food dye to make each bowl of batter a different color. Then have fun spooning different colors into cup cake holders and put them in the oven. I don't know why I've never tried them until now.

As far as frosting went, I used white and put tiny drops of food coloring throughout it to give a tie-dye effect.

| No cupcake for kitty :3 Later during the day I went back to school clothes shopping at the mall. I only shopped in Delias and F21, but OH BOY was that enough. I bought so many new items of clothing that I had to go through and take out nearly half of my old clothing I had (most of which I've stopped wearing for 1-3 years). So basically I bought an entire new wardrobe. The purchases: 3 skirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 2 solid shirts, a mickey mouse shirt, a pink tank, a navy blue sweater, 3 floral tops, a flannel shirt, flower tights, 2 pairs of leggings, and a camera necklace. ZOMG. I was so tired! I'm hoping that I'll dress a lot better this year xD |

(the next thing on my list to make is strawberry muffins, maybe I'll take some photos and post it on my blog!) but wow, talk about a shopping spree! I don't think I've ever bought that much clothes in one outing! (I'd probably have a heart attack due to intense excitement!) but that second skirt is absolutely adorable! what a win!! <3
